I started my financial advisory business in 2001. I began with a vision to help people achieve life goals. As time went on, clients started to ask important questions about retirement. When can I retire? How much can I spend in retirement? When should I consider taking Social Security?
I am dedicated to helping people work through those important questions. To attain the standard of excellence in financial planning, I completed the requirements for the Certified Financial Planner certification in 2008.
Today I am working with a select group of clients, helping them with retirement income planning and investment management. I do my best work for diligent savers who have retired or are within five years of retirement and want a collaborative advisory relationship so they can focus on enjoying retirement.
Prior to my work as a Financial Advisor, I worked in international business consulting and then taught personal finance classes as an adjunct instructor. During that time students asked for help with their personal finances. I developed a passion for helping people achieve financial goals and started my journey as a Financial Advisor shortly thereafter.
I was raised with the values of hard work and serving others in a small town in upstate NY. As a teenager I gained an appreciation for other cultures when our family moved to South America for several years. I obtained a B.S. in Foreign Service with a Concentration in International Finance and Trade at Georgetown University. I have also completed educational programs for financial advisors at the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University.
I have lived in the Rochester, NY area since the year 2000, raising two sons together with my wife who grew up here. While most of my clients live in upstate NY, many live in other states. I offer both in person and virtual meetings by appointment and am taking a select group of new clients each year by referral.
